We have many reasons to rejoice! First, 63 households recommitted to our covenant relationship at Good Shepherd. That means that about 100 people have said that they support the work of our congregation. That is definitely something to give thanks for.
Second, you committed more than $445,000 to Habitat, staff expansion, and sanctuary improvements! Because of your gifts, Good Shepherd can GO! into our community to serve and make disciples for Generations to Come. Together we will accomplish great things!
Third, we broke ground on the Habitat project—at least ceremonially—for which we also give thanks. Nash Bock and other regular supporters of Habitat were impressed with how many of us were able to attend the ceremony; we made it a much larger turnout than usual. Construction will begin after the holidays, so if you’d like to be involved, watch for details. Let’s GO! together! Finally, the weekend of December 18th and 19th we will offer our first fruits. We will bring our first offerings for the work we feel God calling us to—serving our neighbors and sharing Christ by changing lives. Please join us to give thanks and share the joy!
