Stations of the Cross
We are privileged to have an amazing place to walk the Stations of the Cross this year. Notre Dame Retreat House has opened their grounds to us on the evening of Tuesday, April 15th between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00.
The stations are rendered in metal statuary set in a peaceful setting with Canandaigua Lake and the surrounding hills as a backdrop. They tell the story of Jesus’ suffering from the moment He is condemned to die until He is laid in the tomb.
To guide your walk, volunteers from our church will read the scripture depicted in each statue. Then you’ll be given time to reflect and pray before going to the next station.
We are very grateful to Notre Dame Retreat House for allowing us to walk this journey with Jesus. Feel free to come at any point during the 4:00 to 6:00 time period.
