The Renovation Committee has another proposal that they are asking the congregation to consider.  It is for the updating of the office furniture and technology.  We are asking for a Congregational meeting on Saturday and Sunday, July 23 & 24 following each service.  

We are using the furniture that was in the old office that we moved out of over 15 years ago.  It has been used in that office for over 15 years.  It has served us well, but really does not enable us to work at our best nor does it make our best presentation to those who visit our office.   

The computers in the office were purchased over 7 years ago.  They are networked to be able to communicate with each other, but over the years that network has stopped functioning.  We’ve had someone try to figure out the problem.  All the setting are correct, the computers just can’t communicate, making it difficult to accomplish the work of the parish. 

The hardware is obsolete and having problems, where their dependability is in question.  

We will have information to you next week about the costs.  All of this was planned for in the “Go Campaign” so we  have the funds to accomplish it.  We just need your approval to go forward.
