ADULT STUDIES:
“A Disciple after God’s own Heart”
Bob Smith and Pastor Don will lead an adult Bible class studying the life of King David as found in the book of 2 Samuel. The class is entitled “A Disciple after God’s own Heart.” Acts 13:22 tells us that “God removed Saul and replaced him with David, a man about whom God said, ‘I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart.’” We will be exploring the meaning of that verse by studying aspects of David’s life and applying them to our own lives as disciples. This is a new class and doesn’t require any previous participation, nor do you have to be knowledgeable in Bible study to be able to participate. All you need is a willingness to read the Bible with the group and participate in our class discussions. Please join us in this exciting application of God’s word to our lives as disciples of God.

Scholars are still uncertain as to who the author was of Hebrews. What we DO know is that he was called to write this account to the Jewish believers in Jesus, who were struggling with their old ways and rituals and this NEW relationship .The Author presents the case that then and now, that Jesus IS better in every way.
